Study: AI beat physicians in 1,100 specialist consult cases
HealthcareAIGuy · x · 2026-07-21
A new ARISE lab study evaluated 45 AI models and clinical tools across 1,100 specialist consultation cases.
The headline finding is that AI alone outperformed physicians using conventional resources or AI-assisted workflows. The post also notes that specialized medical platforms such as AMBOSS, Doximity, OpenEvidence, and Glass Health were among the systems compared. The study still calls for more validation before drawing final clinical conclusions.
