BrainPilot is an open-source, human-in-the-loop multi-agent framework designed for neuroscience research, aiming to orchestrate domain knowledge, literature retrieval, validation, and scientific workflows.

It features 72 skills, a knowledge base covering 7 neuroscience subfields with over 7,200 papers, and automated review/verification alongside trace visualization to enhance the traceability and reproducibility of research processes. The creators also released BrainPilotBench, claiming the system achieves performance comparable to current SOTA agentic frameworks on both this benchmark and Agents' Last Exam.
