TheZachMueller · x · 2026-07-17
Vercel announced that two veterans in the developer tools space are joining the team: Pete Hunt will lead Frameworks and head up Next.js, while Nick Schrock will take charge of Agentic Developer Experience.
The post highlights that Pete drove the early adoption of React for Instagram Web at Meta, while Nick is a co-inventor of GraphQL who solved data access and developer experience challenges at Facebook scale. These appointments are described as a major boost to Vercel's capabilities in both frameworks and agentic developer experience.
