DeepMind co-founder Demis Hassabis published an article urging the US to establish a "前沿AI标准机构" to prepare for the impending AGI era.\n\nHe suggested the agency oversee the testing of AI models related to national security. Initially, frontier AI labs could voluntarily submit models for a 30-day review pre-release; once standards are formalized, frontier models must pass agency evaluation before deployment in the US. Additionally, organizations designated as frontier labs must adhere to best practices, including releasing model cards with technical details, maintaining internal cybersecurity, screening key personnel, and allocating ample resources for safety research.
