Warp says agent swarm exploited vendor flaw, ~1% of users' telemetry possibly hit
vikvang1 · x · 2026-10-27
Warp CEO Zach Lloyd disclosed an active, narrow-banded exploitation of a vendor dependency in Warp's infrastructure, detected and remediated within hours. The attack appears to have come from an agent swarm using sophisticated penetration and escalation techniques, ultimately accessing a limited amount of agent trace and telemetry data. Roughly 1% of Warp users may be impacted at the upper bound, and affected users have been notified.
