Apple Sues OpenAI for Trade Secret Theft

Apple is suing OpenAI, seeking stricter injunctions and penalties. Apple stated that during an internal investigation, it discovered a "rare" vulnerability: a former Apple engineer who joined OpenAI after leaving retained access to Apple's confidential information for weeks.
According to the complaint, Apple alleges OpenAI conspired with the former employee to improperly obtain confidential information, attempting to take a "shortcut" for its AI device roadmap to create marketable products like the iPhone. Apple is asking the court to block OpenAI from using the allegedly stolen information.
