Per The Verge, Microsoft is offering voluntary buyouts to up to 60,000 employees across the US, UK, Canada, and India. Chief people officer Amy Coleman says staff can "leave Microsoft with financial support and career planning resources." Sources say the offers span AI experiences, Copilot, CoreAI, Windows + Devices, Xbox, finance, and HR teams plus cloud + AI — the company's way of trimming headcount without another round of layoffs.
