OpenAI Resets Codex and Work Limits

OpenAI-related accounts have updated the usage limits for Codex and ChatGPT Work: current limits have been reset, with another reset scheduled for later the same day.
Over the past 24 hours, after reviewing feedback, analyzing usage patterns, and communicating with users, the team noted an enthusiastic response to GPT 5.6 Sol, ChatGPT Work on mobile and web, and yesterday's announced updates. However, they acknowledged some design missteps, particularly regarding unclear usage limits for the highest compute tier and a major desktop app overhaul that disrupted familiar UI layouts.
