Responding to "Alpha School students don't read books" claims, Nat Eliason, who leads Alpha Founders, calls it anti-AI propaganda. Students get a dedicated 30-minute reading block after lunch, finishing a book roughly every two weeks for group discussion—recently Meditations and Never Split the Difference. The school does use apps with structured passages to push reading levels tactically, but alongside normal reading, not instead of it.
