Claude Code Desktop Gets Built-In Browser
EricBuess · x · 2026-07-11
Claude Code can now directly open any website within the desktop app.
Beyond simply viewing links, it can read documentation, review design drafts, click elements, and interact with sites just like on a local dev server. The post notes it can access production apps, check Twitter, and even watch the World Cup. This browser capability is sandboxed and configurable, allowing users to decide whether sessions are persisted.
