Claude Code Desktop Introduces Built-in Browser

On July 11, Anthropic announced that the Claude Code desktop app now includes a built-in browser. This update allows Claude to open and debug URLs directly within the application, significantly improving its ability to fetch external context in agentic workflows without relying on an external browser.

The built-in browser allows Claude to open documents, design files, or any website just like interacting with a local build or development server.
