QuixiCore Launches Cross-Platform AI Kernel Library for Multi-Hardware Support

QuixiAI · x · 2026-07-06

QuixiAI has merged its ThunderKittens and ThunderMittens into a unified AI kernel family called QuixiCore, targeting multiple hardware platforms. It is split into two sub-libraries: QuixiCore-CUDA and QuixiCore-Metal.

The project aims to run identical kernels—such as mxfp8, BitNet, and nvfp4—across different accelerators like Intel Arc, Gaudi, and AMD MI300X. This breaks down platform barriers, providing equal AI compute capabilities across various hardware.
