Fable 5 Mode 1: Phased Planning Prompting
thisguyknowsai · x · 2026-07-03
Instead of letting Fable 5 execute immediately, have it plan in writing first before taking action. For example, before writing any code, create a phased plan for the migration, list risks for each phase, and flag which phases can run unattended and which need your review. This forces the model to externalize its reasoning before execution, giving you a checkpoint to approve or pivot, preventing hours of autonomous work based on flawed assumptions.
