This mode focuses on guiding video production step-by-step like a director. According to HeyGen and @aftahiai, the workflow involves several stages: the agent first provides 5 creative angles, then proceeds to the storyboard stage to draft scenes, and finally draws sketches for user preview. The AI only advances to final video generation after step-by-step user approval. @aftahiai noted that this design aims to retain human decision-making power and avoid wasting tokens on blind generation. Additionally, this feature can be invoked via the npx hyperframes@latest skill command, and HeyGen released the underlying repository link as a supporting resource.
Video Agent and HyperFrames Integration
On July 24, HeyGen officially announced the integration of HyperFrames (an HTML motion graphics framework) into the Video Agent. By simply inputting a prompt, the Agent can automatically generate an entire video, comprehensively covering scriptwriting, voice cloning, avatar generation, motion graphics, subtitles, and music. The official statement emphasized that the process is highly customizable and significantly lowers the barrier to video creation. @toolstelegraph added that HeyGen fine-tuned a dedicated coding sub-agent to generate motion overlays and b-roll, aiming to improve overall controllability and production efficiency at acceptable quality.
