Hugging Face free accounts now get 2 ZeroGPU Spaces with ~5 min GPU/day

A Reddit user discovered that Hugging Face free personal accounts (verified email, older than 30 days) can now host up to 2 ZeroGPU Spaces for free, and compiled the key details:
- Gradio only: no Docker, Streamlit, or custom servers; the Docker option for new Spaces is now paid
- 5 min GPU per day quota (older docs said 3.5), resetting 24h after first use, running on an RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell — enough for testing and small demos
- Orgs excluded: only personal accounts qualify; organizations need Team/Enterprise plans
- Staggered rollout: some eligible free accounts still see "Paid", per forum reports
- CPU Basic appears gone for new Spaces; only Static remains free and unlimited
The author also mentions Nvidia's announced acquisition of Hugging Face but found no link to this change. They are building a small reel maker using SDXL on ZeroGPU with CPU-side video assembly to save GPU time.
