Momentum launches neutral agent memory shared across Claude, Codex, Grok and 30+ AI coding tools
Scobleizer · x · 2026-11-08
Tactico introduced Momentum, a local desktop app offering a provider-neutral memory layer for AI agents: Claude, Codex, Grok and 30+ other harnesses can share the same persistent context, so switching tools no longer means re-explaining everything.
- Early-access builds for macOS (Apple Silicon/Intel) and Windows; Linux coming soon
- Demo: a Three.js city builder kept as a durable goal in Momentum Memory — a new model recalls the goal, reads that 2/4 acceptance criteria are done, and picks up mid-lighting-pass after the street graph and procedural massing were finished
- Pitched as breaking the memory walled gardens of individual agent tools
Pre-release access is open now.
