A browser compiled into weights: DNS, HTTP and HTML parsing without any LLM
max_paperclips · x · 2026-11-08
Developer @loveofdoing demonstrates a "browser compiled to weights": neural weights alone handle DNS queries with answer parsing, IP selection, HTTP requests, and HTML parsing. It was tested through real HTTPS traffic and exact replay, with no training and no LLM API calls — just a Python/NumPy runner, leaving socket transport and TLS outside the weights. The motivation is a pointed question: why rely on harnesses that make tool calls when you can compile the tool call into the weights?
