Noosphere Lite: open-source persistent agent memory via MCP and typed knowledge graphs
Holiday_Reference_41 · reddit · 2026-11-08
The author released Noosphere Lite, an MIT-licensed Python/MCP memory layer giving agents persistent, structured memory across sessions. It stores notes, decisions, observations and tasks, links them in a typed relationship graph, retrieves on demand instead of dumping everything into context, and uses encrypted local storage on Linux—no cloud DB. It's a deliberately simple standalone piece of a larger private multi-agent experiment, using local text search and explicitly defined relations rather than automatic semantic discovery.
