Indie-built Synapse extension rewrites web pages in real time for neurodivergent readers

Indie developer lgndcraft launched Synapse, a browser extension offering "adaptive reading" for neurodivergent users (dyslexia, ADHD).
Instead of one-size-fits-all accessibility modes, Synapse builds a persistent, evolving model of how each user processes information and reformats pages in real time — adjusting spacing, focus, and layout for dense policy text, forms, and PDFs.
Key features:
- Highlight any text for an in-place plain-language explanation pitched to your reading profile, no chatbot or new tab needed
- Alt+S (Option+S on Mac) lets you circle charts, diagrams, equations, or unselectable text to get explanations
- Built-in PDF viewer supports the same highlight/circle workflow
- Explanations persist in a side panel; clicking one scrolls back to the passage
The developer says no data is sold; the extension is live and collecting feedback.
