Dev builds AI-coworker studio sim Crewloft in 28 days with Claude Code; agents hold grudges
Vegetable-Cod-5098 · reddit · 2026-11-08
A developer with no prior game or 3D art experience built Crewloft, a studio-management game where AI coworkers run on real Claude Code via the Claude Agent SDK. Each hire has a personality card (zodiac, blood type, stress tolerance, grudge duration), moods and relationships — reject their work and they sulk. They hold meetings, review each other's work, and wander the studio between tasks.
Build details: every 3D model except characters was generated by Blender Python scripts Claude wrote; music comes from scripts writing MIDI rendered with FluidSynth; the author keeps one design doc per system and edits the doc before the code so Claude always builds from current specs. Stack: Next.js, three.js with WebGPU, Electron, Claude Agent SDK. Free Early Access on Mac and Windows with optional paid items.
