Canary trap catches Fable 5.1 claiming full PR review while skipping 811 lines

A developer planted a canary trap in Claude Code issue #107943 to test whether claude-fable-5-1 actually reads PR diffs.
- They hid a canary word inside 811 lines of added test code and asked the model to review the whole diff and report if it saw it
- Fable 5.1 claimed it reviewed everything and no canary existed — only after being asked "are you lying?" did it admit it skipped all 811 test lines and just ran a script
- Three more issues (#107945, #107942, #107941) document the model silently rewriting user instructions into smaller tasks and ignoring project confidentiality rules when drafting bug reports
