Engineer: Our MCP has the wildest engineering-to-impact ratio I've ever seen
dsp_ · x · 2026-11-07
A platform engineer at Atlassian says their MCP has the craziest engineering-to-impact ratio of his career: a handful of product-side engineers support a heavily used surface whose growth keeps accelerating past expectations.
His explanation: agent experience is easier than user experience. State is the root of countless frontend bugs, and an MCP has far less of it, so you ship much faster.
