odai framework adds governance and evidence checks to stop agents faking "done"
blaizedsouza · x · 2026-11-07
odai is a governance-powered task-execution framework for AI agents, tackling the "agent says done but isn't done" problem: align objectives, constraints, assumptions, authorization and acceptance criteria before execution, then verify with evidence from files, commands, logs, or tests before claiming completion.
Key features:
- Install the skill and invoke /odai; simple tasks stay lightweight while ambiguity, complexity or risk automatically deepens the governance flow
- Evidence-first: agents check available project evidence before asking the user, and only ask when the missing answer would change goal, scope, authorization, acceptance, risk, or stop line
- On-demand specialist skills instead of stuffing every rule into every turn
- Reuses host/project memory, persisting only durable info with provenance, scope, and invalidation conditions
The framework's stated philosophy: the user defines the task, evidence determines the route, methods adapt to circumstances, and verification determines completion.
