Hugging Face asks which scientific data formats it's still missing for AI for Science
lhoestq · x · 2026-11-07
Hugging Face team member Emma Scharfmann is asking the community which scientific data formats HF doesn't yet support but would most help the AI for Science community. She argues data format matters more than ever as datasets grow and AI agents need to pinpoint relevant parts fast. HF already supports many formats across biology, astronomy, and climate, but gaps remain — suggestions in comments will be considered for support.
