Prof. Aviv Tamar (Technion) announced two events on his "Artificial Touch" research: a live 3D tactile imaging demo by ZoharRimon at CoRL on Nov 9 in Austin — footage shows the sensor reconstructing centimeter-scale, high-resolution 3D deformation maps closely matching ground truth — and a public colloquium talk, "Artificial Touch: the Next Frontier for AI," at University of Zurich on Nov 12.
