Autonomous factory trains robots in 4 weeks to bend wires and screws, lands 3-year production contract

A startup called fdot inc unveiled "Factory Intelligence": after walking through 70+ US factories, the founder found most run on last-century buildings and overworked people — 95%+ of data-center electrical prefab is still done by hand, and workers can't be hired fast enough.
Instead of retrofitting old plants, they build new ones for autonomy. Their first cell went live at an Indiana electrical contractor: within 4 weeks robots learned to bend wire, break tabs and drive screws fully autonomously, producing 36,000 wall outlets per cell with no human involvement. The pilot became a 3-year production contract expanding to 12 cells. Next: their own factory with 20 cells and mobile robots moving material between them.
