Redditor has Claude build an RTS intro video end-to-end, rents 8x A40s and renders in ~3 hours

A Reddit developer shared how he had Claude produce an intro video for his RTS civilization game:
- Claude made nearly everything: unit, structure, and projectile VFX models for the game were generated by Claude, then adapted and scaled up for the video; lighting and environments were built in a Blender project Claude produced.
- Audio pipeline: most SFX came from Pixabay, with gaps filled by ElevenLabs v3 (the odd "tree fart" at the start was likely Claude-generated).
- Borrowed compute: realizing his laptop RTX 3060 couldn't handle rendering, he rented 8x A40s on a GPU cloud, had Claude package everything into a zip with a terminal command, and built + rendered in about 2.5-3 hours.
- Iteration: writing the scene took 1 hour after the units existed; the first render was rough but shockingly detailed, and the shared third render reflects rounds of feedback.
He stresses it's far from done, but it demonstrates what an agent can one-shot across 3D asset creation and video production.
