Team bans commas and noun-phrase clustering to scrub Claude's AI writing tells
layer07_yuxi · x · 2026-11-07
Responding to the observation that Claude-style models overuse ", and" to smear clauses together while GPT overuses "not", @layer07yuxi shares their team's countermeasures: they outright banned "," "which" "that" etc. for Claude, and because the model clusters noun phrases massively, they enforce a spaCy filter banning all noun phrases (except proper nouns) plus nominalizations like "expressivity". A concrete, reproducible engineering recipe for de-AI-fying model output.
