Thinking Machines' Inkling 2 Small posts verified ARC-AGI results: 81.7% on ARC-AGI-2 at $0.27/task and 96.5% on ARC-AGI-1 at $0.08/task, beating every open-weight model evaluated on both benchmarks.
Commenter @teortaxesTex notes it was achieved on a tiny compute and token budget with no fancy architecture or RL tricks, calling it top-tier ex-frontier-lab work. Full weights are planned for release next week.
