Antigravity Interactions API: reusable sandbox env IDs and direct AGENTS.md/skills mounting
clmt · x · 2026-11-06
clmt shares two practical details of Google's Antigravity Interactions API, with a genai SDK code example:
- Decoupled Linux sandboxes: Remote Agents run in isolated cloud VMs; via environment="remote" the API provisions that exact sandbox and returns an environmentid (env...) you can reuse or fork across runs.
- Zero-translation portability: the .agents/AGENTS.md rules, .agents/skills//SKILL.md workflows, and remote MCP servers you build interactively in Antigravity mount directly into environment.sources via the API, plus proxy-injected secrets and network allowlists.
The sample code shows headlessly invoking the same harness with client.interactions.create(): setting agent config (model + thinkinglevel), the task input ("Audit the repo, run pytest, and generate a coverage report"), mounting a GitHub repo plus inline AGENTS.md/SKILL.md sources, and printing the sandbox ID.
