Android Remote Control MCP v1.13 adds free e2e-encrypted tunnel, no account needed
daniele_dll · reddit · 2026-11-06
Android Remote Control MCP v1.13.0 lets AI agents drive any app on your phone. The headline feature is a built-in free end-to-end encrypted HTTPS tunnel requiring no account — encryption terminates on the phone, the cert key never leaves it, and the app watches Certificate Transparency logs. Setup with Claude.ai or ChatGPT takes two fields. Unlike adb-based tools it runs on the phone's accessibility service, needs little vision, and keeps outputs short on tokens. Now GPL-3.0-or-later with the tunneld component open-sourced separately.
