Michael Jordan at ICOMP'26: LLMs are collective intelligence, not a singular super-intelligence

Michael Jordan's talk at ICOMP'26, titled "Collaborative, Decentralized Intelligence", argues that modern IT in healthcare, transportation, fintech and commerce is fundamentally about collaborative, decentralized systems.
Key slides: intelligence should be found partly at the system level — as much about the collective as the individual; LLMs and generative AI are best thought of as a form of collective intelligence rather than a singular (super-)intelligence; and the recent focus on agents points the way to bringing this collective view to the foreground.
