Citing Steam hardware survey data, Seb Aaltonen notes only 2% of PC gamers own an RTX 5080 or 5090, and adding 4080/4090 brings it to just another 2% — meaning 96% of gamers are on older cards. $2000+ flagship GPUs are simply unaffordable for most players.
