Lamport Robotics' Pincer1: a Six-Legged Robot Wallet That Signs Only When You're in the Room
R4nsack · x · 2026-11-06
Lamport Robotics unveiled Pincer1, a talking six-legged robot hardware wallet for crypto. Lidar plus a depth camera on a four-axis arm verifies a real 3D person in the room — photos and screens fail. The touch pad is wired directly to an NXP SE050 secure chip, so nothing on the computer side can press it; keys are generated inside and never leave.
Every transaction is read aloud before signing — drainers, fake airdrops and unlimited approvals get a red screen and no signature. It supports Solana, EVM and Bitcoin from one seed, runs 160+ minutes walking on a 200Wh pack, self-docks below 20% battery, and can walk to your bed to wake you if a request needs a real decision. Software is open source on GitHub.
