Florida deploys robot bunnies to lure invasive pythons that wiped out 99% of raccoons

Florida is fighting invasive Burmese pythons in the Everglades with robot bunnies. Tens of thousands of pythons have decimated native wildlife: rabbits and foxes gone from surveys, raccoon and opossum sightings down 99%, bobcats down 88%. The snakes can reach 20 feet but take up to 10 hours to find; live rabbit bait caught 26 pythons in three months before robots replaced them.
