Laude Institute announced the four winners of Moonshots // ONE, awarding $10 million each for multi-year labs across four categories: Workforce Reskilling (Stanford), Strengthening Civic Discourse (Cornell), Advancing Healthcare (UCSF & UC Berkeley), and Accelerating Science (University of Chicago). Eight seed teams spent six months developing proposals for the $10M labs before pitching at a San Francisco Demo Day; all four decisions were unanimous. The program grew out of the 2024 "Shaping AI's Impact on Billions of Lives" initiative to direct computer scientists toward high-impact problems.
