Sardine launches Know Your Human protocol to verify humans behind shopping agents
astrange · x · 2026-11-06
Sardine launched Know Your Human (KYH), a protocol exposing human identifiers (device ID, fingerprint, IP, email, phone, KYC) to merchants and issuers. Agentic shopping converts poorly because fraud systems block agents running in cloud browsers from data-center IPs. KYH lets merchants verify the human behind an agent and approve legitimate orders, while agent developers can pass the user's device ID to complete more purchases — no merchant-side changes required.
