SMFNet: a diffusion model predicting single-molecule chromatin accessibility from DNA
anshulkundaje · x · 2026-11-06
Researchers including Anshul Kundaje's lab released SMFNet, a diffusion model that predicts single-molecule chromatin accessibility directly from DNA sequence — one sequence, many chromatin states. The team released an explainer video and notes two concurrent preprints tackling similar problems: Jian Zhou's group modeling Fiber-seq with diffusion, and Katie Pollard's group predicting chromatin co-accessibility.
