garrytan · x · 2026-11-06
Y Combinator president Garry Tan shares the "Capy effect": Capy's Captains feature lets subthreads and subagents talk to each other, coordinate, and manage merge queues and CI. Over two months his gstack PRs went from 49 to 643 (13x), gbrain PRs from 118 to 575 (4.9x), and total PRs across two repos from 769 to 1,905 (2.5x), while others' PRs grew only 13-14%.
