Reuters reports exclusively that about 600,000 Nvidia H200 AI chips are stuck in Hong Kong as Beijing withholds approval for large-scale imports into China, even as Chinese tech giants need more compute.
Price signal: an 8-chip H200 server now costs over $900,000 on China's unofficial market, roughly triple its price a year ago.
