Generative modeling preprint treats mouse embryos as trees instead of single-cell trajectories
anshulkundaje · x · 2026-11-06
A new preprint led by JswLab applies generative modeling to mouse development: rather than modeling single-cell trajectories, the team models embryos as trees. The effort is led by @goklg, @njwfish and William Colgan, with collaborators including Philippe Rigollet, Stephen, Zack Smith, Marinka Zitnik and Luke Koblan — an early example of generative models applied to developmental biology.
