Openbar puts Claude Code and Codex sessions in the Mac notch — approve diffs with ⌘Y
Significant-Sea-7238 · reddit · 2026-11-05
Tired of alt-tabbing to the terminal every time Claude Code or Codex asks for permission, a developer built Openbar, a free open-source (GPL) tool that places coding agents in a status island at the top of the screen: view the diff there, press ⌘Y to approve, and see which sessions are running or waiting. Works on macOS and Windows, no pro tier.
