Dev questions Decision RAG: why not just use Jev embeddings for vector search
solyarisoftware · x · 2026-11-05
kazunori279 questions the design of Decision RAG: since Jev is essentially just a strong embedding model (or a classifier built on it), you could simply generate embeddings and use vector search directly. He doesn't see the point of spending time upfront building a tree structure that only serves specific queries. Retweeted by solyarisoftware.
