ReproEvalCard: a reporting standard for reproducible LLM pipeline evaluation
kalyan_kpl · x · 2026-11-05
Kalyan proposes ReproEvalCard, a lightweight reporting standard specifying the minimal artifacts required to reproduce and validate evaluations of LLM pipelines.
The problem: modern LLM system evaluation relies on multi-stage pipelines (RAG, tool-using agents, prompt chains), and reproducing reported results requires evaluation-specific artifacts beyond model weights and datasets — prompts, judge configurations, retrieval snapshots, and intermediate traces. Randomness controls and intermediate executions are frequently missing from papers, substantially limiting reproducibility. ReproEvalCard provides a concise checklist for authors to close this gap.
