A Claude Code usage screenshot shared by Zed's CEO (zeeg) shows a single claude-opus-5.5 task that ran 5h47m and consumed 238M tokens costing $120.26: the main agent used 46M tokens ($32.33) while 8 subagents used 192M ($87.93). Cache costs dominate — $56.31 in cache writes and $45.08 in cached reads, versus just $17.63 of actual output. A vivid look at what agentic workflows really cost.
