Kelin announced tenderworld, a product studio based in New York and Shenzhen. He calls it his "post-AGI job" — an experiment in figuring out the future of work for himself, aiming to be an example and resource for others on the same search.
The studio ships a series of projects with new and familiar collaborators, focusing on things that feel like only they can make — not via specialized skills, but by pushing into new mediums and processes aided by machine intelligence and guided by intuition. Current output includes the Poetry Camera (a promptable instant camera that writes poems, Black Friday price $349), modular stacking lamps, and work with Shenzhen manufacturers. The studio's manifesto: products are byproducts of "reinventing ourselves and embracing our humanity in the age of AI — let the robots do the boring stuff."
