French search engine ibou launches API to ground LLMs and AI agents in the real web
IgorCarron · x · 2026-11-05
French search engine ibou has launched ibou Platform, a web search API for LLMs and AI agents. The crawl, index and ranking are all built and hosted in France, and a single call returns structured results — URL, title, snippet and pre-chunked passage text — ready to inject into an LLM context.
The API ships first; a more conventional web version is expected by year-end. New users get 100 free units (no card required, valid 90 days), with a passage query like the example costing 3 units.
