Solo dev's open-source browser agent uses local models to watch your screen and trigger actions
Roy3838 · reddit · 2026-11-05
A solo developer unveiled an open-source project, built over a year, that runs local models in the browser to continuously monitor your screen and trigger actions — fully local and private.
Demoed use cases include: nagging notifications when drawing progress stalls for 5 minutes, a phone call when the rice cooker finishes, a Telegram with a photo when someone approaches your car, a call when you're out of the Ticketmaster queue, alerts when a CapCut render completes, and SMS when a shiny Pokémon appears.
It ships as apps for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android, with local models running on phones too. The author is soliciting feedback and new use-case ideas.
