Aether runs Claude Code and Codex on your existing AI subscription, charging only for the cloud machine
Scobleizer · x · 2026-11-05
Aether launched: it runs Claude Code or Codex on a real cloud machine while reusing your existing Claude or ChatGPT subscription for the model, so there's no second AI bill — you only pay for the machine (e.g. $0.10 for 12 minutes on the small box, idle free).
- Tasks boot in 20 seconds; you can watch every line, step in from your phone, and closing the laptop doesn't stop the run
- Optional reviewer agent actually executes code changes to catch bug classes static analysis misses, with PR review verdicts posted to GitHub
- Starts from Slack, Linear, GitHub, CLI, MCP, and mobile
Scobleizer: he already pays for Claude and most cloud agent tools would charge him for the model again — Aether doesn't.
