Non-coder builds an AI-agent eSIM store with Claude; a $5-wallet agent completes a real purchase in one sentence

An ecommerce-background non-developer built Go Bag with Claude: a store where AI agents buy prepaid travel eSIMs with no accounts — agents pay per plan in USDC on Base via Coinbase's x402 protocol.
The demo: a fresh Claude agent with a $5 wallet got one sentence — land in Lisbon Friday for a week, buy an eSIM, show options before paying. It read the API, inferred the date, recommended the 5GB/15-day plan ($4.99) over the 7-day one, paid, and saved the QR code and install link, with an on-chain receipt. Made-up trip, real money.
How it was built: Claude acted as architect, builder, and reviewer; the author only makes decisions and approves anything public. Highlights:
- eSIMs are issued only after USDC settles; buyers claim via one-time Ed25519 signed requests
- Claude debugged Coinbase's x402 directory listing by reading the SDK and docs, fixing two gateway issues
- Every change goes through design doc → approval → branch build → blind review by fresh Claude agents against real code and tests
- The promo video was rendered frame-by-frame with headless Chrome and ffmpeg by Claude
Stack: Node.js on a VPS behind Cloudflare, x402 via Coinbase's facilitator. Browsing is free; AgentCash gives up to $25 sign-up credit and plans start at $0.99.
